HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING:

The quickest way to obtain a quote or information is to send the BOOKING ENQUIRY FORM to our email address (bookings@camelotkennels.co.za), but we do ask for your patience during busy periods. Whilst we endeavour to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible, the high volume of calls and emails may prevent an immediate reply. We do apologise for any delay, and hope that the list of useful tips below will help you get the right information as soon as possible.

BOOK EARLY!
It is a well known fact that there are simply not enough reputable kennels available in the Peninsula, especially during peak seasons. We are usually fully booked 2 - 3 months before the start of the school holidays or long weekends - the wise pet owner will make a provisional booking well in advance, in the knowledge that it can be fine-tuned or even cancelled closer to the time. The non-refundable deposit is a small price to pay for peace of mind to ensure your pets will have accommodation when needed.

Try our "Standing Booking" system - regular clients book 12 months in advance and manage those according to their needs, during the year! This applies in particular to our popular Garden cattery and XL C-block dog kennels.

BOOKING ENQUIRY/QUOTE

1.

Please note our operating hours as animals cannot check in or out on "closed" days. In exceptional circumstances, [and provided the surcharge is paid], we can allow a special check in or collection.

2.

To establish availability and/or obtain a quote, please return the completed BOOKING ENQUIRY FORM. (See also 8. below).

3.

All general enquiries will receive our standard information letter, providing quotes, booking instructions as well as deadlines. If we cannot accommodate your pets, you will be informed accordingly.

4.

Please note we cannot waive the vaccination and other requirements even for an emergency, as that will compromise other boarders!

5.

A non-refundable deposit of R200 is required to secure any agreed booking. Provisional bookings can only be held for 72 hours before our system discards the details.

6.

During the booking process clients will be advised of applicable due dates for submission of vaccination records as well as final, full payment. Failure to comply may result in the immediate cancellation of such booking.

7.

All new clients will be requested to complete our DATA BASE forms. (Obtainable from the website or office and usually attached to your first email)
a) Client details - once off requirement for new clients, or to be used when details change.
b) Pet(s) details - also a once off, as in b). Required iro each pet using our facilities.
c) The Vac Form must be signed by your vet and returned together with scanned copies of current vaccination records, minimum 14 days before checking in.

8.

You can help us invoice/quote you correctly by providing all information requested:
a) Dates as well as arrival and departure details are important. Accommodation is charged per night; the check out day is free, IF pets are collected before 10am.
b) A R500 surcharge APPLIES iro any approved after hours services, by PRIOR arrangement only. This should be seen as a deterrent to avoid after hours service!
c) DISCRETIONARY DISCOUNTS may be applied for in the case of long stays or large families, depending on circumstances.
d) Please indicate if you will supply the food, or if the kennel stock should be used as our boarding rates (published elsewhere on this page) does not include food.
e) Rates are based on the size of the dog or the level of maintenance required by other animals.
f) Where the kennels supply cat or dog food this will be charged separately.

9.

Clients will be charged for all "extras":
a) Full details re special diets or medication etc. must be provided in writing; items must be supplied in clearly marked containers. Please discuss details during check-in.
b) A service fee will apply iro any service that requires special monitoring.
c) Baths can only be done in good weather conditions and is therefore not charged beforehand. Please allow enough time for the dogs to dry before collection; this service is not available over weekends.

10.

Once the full payment is received, and vaccinations verified, you will receive final confirmation of the booking.
