Kennels

We aim to provide the best “Home away from home” for your pet.

Our kennels are located in the lovely Schaapkraal Horticultural area on the Cape Flats. Spacious sleeping areas and large exercise camps provide a very attractive “Home away from Home” environment.

We make use of a 24 hour Security Patrol service, but also have CCTV cameras on site to provide additional security. Regular maintenance and responsible housekeeping systems ensure our facilities are as secure as possible.

Clients should always make sure they leave their pets with a reputable kennel. For your own peace of mind we suggest that new clients arrange a viewing to see the facilities, meet our staff, and discuss any concerns you have about kenneling your fur-babies.

We aim to make your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible – please discuss any special requirements with our receptionist. If clients prefer to provide their pet’s own bedding and equipment, or food of choice, please inform during the booking stage, as this will affect the total cost due.

Our boarders have access to separate exercise camps twice a day on rotation basis. As a rule each family of dogs use a separate play camp. Long term boarders spend more time in these camps during quiet periods.

CATS

We have two catteries – the indoor section consist of spacious single and double size boarding runs – two of these have access to a private enclosed garden.
Sneeze-boards separate all our runs, to prevent spreading of the dreaded Snuffles bugs.
Our outdoor cattery provides undercover sleeping areas facing onto the farm-garden.
Heating is provided in Winter.

DOGS

Our dog section consists of the outdoor section, where we have kennels for small, medium and large size dogs. Our double size runs can comfortably house two dogs, while we also have 4 extra large kennels for the big breeds or large families. All outdoor kennels overlook their luscious exercise runs.
We also have an indoor section, where dogs use separate exercise camps.
Heating can be provided during colder months.

EXERCISE CAMPS

A bored pet is an unhappy pet, and to avoid stressful conditions, we provide as much stimulation as possible. We have a number of large shaded exercise camps, where boarders can stretch their legs. Water-loving dogs enjoy the splash pools provided in Summer.
